Melco Resorts and Entertainment's Cityof Dreams Mediterranean to openin July

City of Dreams Mediterranean will debut on 10 July 2023, according to Melco Resorts & Entertainment.

The general opening will take place in July after a special soft-opening period for hotel guests and invited guests begins on 12 June 2023.

City of Dreams Mediterranean, which has 500 guest rooms and suites, is situated on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, only a short distance from Limassol's bustling city core. This includes the largest Presidential Suite on the island.

Every accommodation has a private balcony with views of the Akrotiri Salt Lake, the Troodos Mountain range and the renowned Lady's Mile Beach.

The project includes a 7,500 square-metre casino with live entertainment, slot machines, a dedicated poker room and table games.

Eight restaurants and bars at City of Dreams Mediterranean offer luxurious dining options. Under the direction of Executive Chef Olivier Belliard, dishes from Amber Dragon's Pan-Asian Fusion, Aura's Middle Eastern Delights, Ana's European Contemporary,slots Oléa's Real Mediterranean Flavours and others will be served.

The resort can host events of various sizes with its 8,000 square-metres of indoor and outdoor event space. The Grand Ballroom, the Forum, meeting spaces and an Amphitheatre in the Roman style are among the amenities. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate over 1,000 people.

A landmark project and our first venture in Europe, it will bring Melco’s standards of entertainment and leisure and welcome innovation to Cyprus’ luxury hotel scene."

Recently, Melco Resort and Entertainment reported its unaudited Q1 2023 revenue of $716.5m, an increase of 51% from the prior year.
